This piece of beech carried a story from the very beginning - cracked, with flaws spreading like a web of past events. It lay for some time in the corner of the workshop, heavy and silent, as if unsure whether it still had a purpose. But I couldn’t throw it away.

I began sanding it slowly, every scratch, every groove remained, because they gave it character. The wood resisted, but over time it softened under my hand. From it emerged a vase - rounded, solid, with a warm, uneven surface full of cracks and marks left by time.

For dried flowers, for bare branches, for something gathered along the way. It doesn’t pretend to be anything, it’s true, just as it was meant to be.

All cracks and imperfections visible on the vases are their unique feature, characteristic of the natural material that is wood.
